WITH several Rangers players plying their trade away from Ibrox this season, we take a look at how they fared over the weekend.

English League One

Harry Forrester (AFC Wimbledon)

Forrester came off the bench on the 76th minute of his side’s 0-0 draw away to rivals MK Dons on Saturday, a result that saw them drop to 22nd place in the table.

Scottish Championship

Jordan Thompson (Livingston)

Livingston triumphed 2-0 away to Brechin City on Saturday, but Thompson failed to make an appearance from the bench.

Myles Beerman (Queen of the South)

The Malta internationalist made his debut for the Doonhamers over the weekend, coming off the bench on the 63rd minute of their 3-1 defeat in Inverness.

Scottish League One

Ross Lyon (Stranraer)

Lyon came off the bench on the 71st minute of his side’s 3-2 comeback win over Airdrie, a result that saw them move within two points of the play-off places.

Kieran Wright (Albion Rovers)

Wright was named among the replacements but failed to earn any minutes as Rovers lost 4-2 away to Forfar. They remain in eighth place, four points off bottom.

Scottish League Two

Robby McCrorie (Berwick Rangers)

The 19-year-old goalkeeper put in another 90 minutes for the Wee Gers, but couldn’t prevent a 2-0 home defeat to Annan Athletic.

Liga MX

Carlos Pena (Cruz Azul)

The Mexican midfielder made his debut for Pedro Caixinha’s side yesterday as a 67th-minute substitute during their trip to Pena’s former club Chivas Guadalajara.

His introduction was met by boos from the home crowd as he took the field against his former side just seven months after leaving them for Rangers, but Caixinha’s side had the last laugh with a 3-1 win, the first victory of the Portuguese’s reign.
