WITH several Rangers players plying their trade away from Ibrox this season, we take a look at how they fared over the weekend.

English League One

Harry Forrester (AFC Wimbledon)

Forrester was on the bench for Wimbledon again during their 2-0 win over Blackpool on Saturday, making a brief appearance after being introduced on the 97th minute. The three points saw the Dons move out of the relegation zone and up to 19th place in the table.

Scottish Championship

Jordan Thompson (Livingston)

Livingston’s Scottish Cup fourth round tie with Falkirk was postponed as the cold weather claimed several fixtures around the country.

Myles Beerman (Queen of the South)

Beerman started his first game at his new club as they fell to a 2-1 home defeat to Partick Thistle in the Scottish Cup. The full-back’s charge down the left wing helped set up Ross Fergusson’s equaliser in the second half before he was replaced on the 69th minute.

Scottish League One

Ross Lyon (Stranraer)

Lyon came off the bench for the final seven minutes of his side’s 1-0 win against league leaders Raith Rovers on Saturday, a result that saw them leapfrog Alloa into the play-off places.

Kieran Wright (Albion Rovers)

Wright had a weekend off after Rovers’ cup tie against St Johnstone was called off. The game has been re-arranged for Tuesday 23 January.

Scottish League Two

Robby McCrorie (Berwick Rangers)

The young goalkeeper was another to suffer from the cold weather snap as Berwick’s League Two meeting with Elgin City was postponed.

Liga MX

Carlos Pena (Cruz Azul)

Pena came off the bench on the 73rd minute of his side’s 0-0 draw against Leon and is yet to start a game under Pedro Caixinha since completing a return to his home country.

The Portuguese’s side remain unbeaten three games into the Liga MX season with a win and two draws and occupy fifth place in the table.
