DeMarcus Cousins’ brilliant triple-double inspired the New Orleans Pelicans to a 132-128 double-overtime win over the Chicago Bulls.

Cousins scored 44 points, made 24 rebounds and 10 assists as the Pelicans recovered from a 17-point deficit in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 114-114 at the end of regulation before clinching victory in overtime.

New Orleans’ Anthony Davis racked up 34 points, nine rebounds and five assists while Jerian Grant and Robin Lopez each scored 22 points for the Bulls.

James Harden led the Houston Rockets with 28 points as they came from behind to beat the Miami Heat 99-90.

The Heat established a commanding lead before half-time but Houston rallied in the third and fourth quarters to win the game.

Hassan Whiteside got 22 points and 13 rebounds for Miami.

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies saw off the Philadelphia 76ers 105-101, the Dallas Mavericks were 98-75 winners against the Washington Wizards, while the Denver Nuggets beat the Portland Trail Blazers 104-101.
