The Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang has brought some memorable moments on the ice and slopes of South Korea.

The Games have also captured the imagination of many on social media with athletes, journalists and even Mr. T getting in on the act.

Here, Press Association Sport picks out some of the best bits of reaction online to the 2018 Winter Olympics:

Mr. T, a former wrestler and best known for his role in The A-Team, became a huge fan of curling and has no time for anyone who doesn’t see its appeal.

Speaking of curling, the USA team found another use for their talents in the cafeteria when there was a spill.

Valentine’s Day may have been forgotten by many athletes out in South Korea but Lindsey Vonn – who won bronze in the downhill – found time to seek out love.

Swiss freestyle skier Fabian Bosch does not do things the easy way, as seen by his unconventional escalator technique.

There was plenty of satisfaction to be had at the Games but, on this occasion, BBC skiing presenters – and Olympians – Graham Bell and Chemmy Alcott could not find any while doing karaoke.

Lizzy Yarnold, who defended her Olympics skeleton title, kept it simple when taking to social media but the message was equally effective.

The world is a tough place, especially when you’re trying to do something incredible. Unfortunately not everyone who works hard succeeds right away, and just because you give it your all it doesn’t mean that your dreams will come true. But it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try. Thank you everyone for all the support 💜 #1 Unfortunately I’m ruled out of world championships due to injury! So I won’t be defending my title 😔 I’ve had so many amazing moments with this sport and I can’t thank everyone enough! I’ll never forget being on the top of the podium of the world! I’ve made so many friends along the way… and met so many incredible athletes. Let’s see what the future holds! Thanks for the amazing fans in Korea! #pyeongchang2018 #teamgb #winterolympics #shorttrack #pyeongchang #likeaboss #girlsthatlift #olympics
