WILLIE Collum has been named as the referee for Sunday's Ladbrokes Premiership meeting between Rangers and Celtic at Ibrox. 

The 39-year-old will be assisted by Douglas Ross and Andrew McWilliam with Andrew Dallas as the fourth official. 

Collum refereed last season's Scottish Cup semi-final meeting between the rivals, when Celtic triumphed 2-0 at Hampden Park.

He has officiated six Gers games already this season, the last of which came when Graeme Murty's side were defeated at home by Hibernian on 3 February. 

Collum sent off Ryan Jack during the Light Blues' win away to Aberdeen in December, as well as overseeing a defeat to Kilmarnock, a win at home to Partick Thistle and draws against the Jags and Hearts. 

It will be the fifth time the FIFA listed ref has taken charge of a Celtic game this season, with the last occasion coming when Hearts stunned the champions with a 4-0 win at Tynecastle that ended their unbeaten domestic run. 

He also oversaw league draws against Motherwell, Hibernian and St Johnstone earlier in the season. 

In total, Collum has brandished 124 yellow cards and nine red cards in 34 matches this season. 

Rangers host Celtic at 12pm on Sunday with a six-point gap currently separating the two sides in the standings, although the Hoops have a game in hand.
