WES FODERINGHAM (6): Had little to do apart from picking the ball out of the net, although might have expected a better reaction from his defenders after doing well to palm away Mulumbu effort, only to see Boyd tuck home the rebound.

JAMES TAVERNIER (5): Strangely subdued performance and looked out of sorts all afternoon. Wore the armband, but seemed to struggle with the responsibility.

BRUNO ALVES (6): Decent enough showing from the experienced defender. Might have reacted quicker to prevent Boyd stealing in for the crucial goal, but was sound in the air and rarely looked too troubled.

RUSSELL MARTIN (6): OK in a defensive capacity, but spurned two glorious opportunities to score. Glanced free header wide then smashed another header off the underside of the bar. Just not his day.

DECLAN JOHN (5): Pretty anonymous for the most part and failed to provide the support to the attack that is usually his strength.

SEAN GOSS (4): Good delivery from wide areas in the first half, but exposed time and again defensively, leading to being hooked at half-time.

GREG DOCHERTY (6): Tried manfully to carry the fight in the midfield, but has to work on what he delivers in the final third. Got into some good areas, but didn't have the composure to trouble MacDonald.

DANIEL CANDEIAS (6): Quiet afternoon for the Portuguese winger, but is never found wanting for effort and put in his customary tireless shift.

JOSH WINDASS (5): Attacker picked up the player of the month award on Friday, but was anonymous for the most part here and the cheers which greeted his substitution in the second half told the story of his contribution.

JAMIE MURPHY (5): Always tried to get on the ball, but not much came off for the winger and his frustration was evident. Killie right-back O'Donnell had the measure of him for the majority of the afternoon.

JASON CUMMINGS (5): Handed a chance to lead the line in place of Alfredo Morelos, but didn't grasp the opportunity in a subdued showing. In fairness, the role doesn't really suit his attributes, being much more effective in the area than running the channels and harassing defenders.

SUBSTITUTES

JASON HOLT (5): On at the break in place of Goss and showed some urgency, and at least tried to provide some drive from the middle of the park.

ALFREDO MORELOS (3): Confidence may have been affected after being dropped for the game and showed little evidence to the contrary here. Took too long to get shot away in the area, allowing Broadfoot to clear.

KENNY MILLER (3): Got last 20 minutes as Rangers chased the game, but did little to trouble the Killie defence.
