WES FODERINGHAM Made two saves from Deacon in the first half but was untroubled for much of the second. A comfortable afternoon overall for the Englishman. 6
JAMES TAVERNIER Didn’t have much to do in a defensive sense, especially after the break, and was solid throughout. Always looking to lend a hand in the final third and worked well with Candeias. 7
ROSS MCCRORIE Given the nod ahead of Bruno Alves and his pace and use of the ball was a welcome addition at the back for Rangers. Didn’t see out the game after suffering from cramp but could have a big part to play at Hampden. 7

RUSSELL MARTIN After a poor outing at Fir Park last weekend, the Scotland defender produced a steadier showing against Dundee. Would benefit from having McCrorie beside him more often. 6
DECLAN JOHN The left-back isn’t a flashy performer at times and this was a typical day at the office. Did what he had to do defensively and got forward when required. 7
GREG DOCHERTY Can’t be faulted for effort but didn’t do enough to control proceedings from the middle of the park. Was suffering from sickness before kick-off and that may explain a low-key showing. 6
GRAHAM DORRANS Started poorly as he misplaced a handful of passes but grew into the match as he continues to get back up to speed following injury. Got an assist with a good run and pass to tee up Candeias for the fourth goal. 6
DANIEL CANDEIAS Had to wait until the closing stages to get the goal his fine display merited. Was always a threat on the right and deserved to take home the Man of the Match champagne. 8

KENNY MILLER Back in the starting line-up and back on the scoresheet as he played his part in a crucial win. Broke the deadlock with a clinical finish in the first half and could have ended the afternoon with more than one. 7
JAMIE MURPHY Was quiet in spells and effective in others. Hit the bar with a cross in the first half and then made sure of the points with a neat finish 20 minutes from time. 7
ALFREDO MORELOS Will be relieved to get back on the scoresheet as he converted Candeias’ cross from close range. Was left in disbelief after being booked for diving following a clash with keeper Parish late on. 7

Substitutes:
ANDY HALLIDAY Hasn’t had much game time of late but he didn’t look rusty after replacing Docherty. Will hope to have played himself into Old Firm contention. 5
BRUNO ALVES Lost his place in the starting line-up but was still called upon as he took over from McCrorie. Booked for a foul on Wighton that upset Dundee boss Neil McCann. 4
SEAN GOSS On for the final 12 minutes as he replaced Miller and helped Rangers see the game out with relative ease. 3
