ROSS County have completed their third summer signing after making Jamie Lindsay's move from Celtic permanent.

The 22-year-old spent the 2017/18 campaign on loan at the Global Energy Stadium, making 32 appearances.

Lindsay could not help the Staggies avoid relegation from the top-flight, but last night agreed to join their effort to bounce back at the first time of asking.

Steven Ferguson, co-manager of the Highland club alongside Stuart Kettlewell, was pleased to continue the summer strengthening in Dingwall after already bringing in Iain Vigurs from Inverness and Josh Mullin from Livingston.

"Myself and Stuart are absolutely delighted to sign Jamie on a permanent contract," he said.

"Having spent last season on loan here we know all about Jamie's qualities and potential.

"He is a hungry and talented young midfielder who was much in demand with other clubs so it's a real coup to have got him back to Ross County on a permanent deal.

"Getting Jamie back to Dingwall permanently was a real priority for us during the close season and we think he will have a big part to play in the coming season."
