STEVEN GERRARD hopes the Ibrox crowd will be impressed with the style of play from his new look Rangers side.
The Light Blues have stepped up their preparations for the new campaign at their Spanish training camp this week.
And boss Gerrard is enjoying the challenge of moulding a side in his first job in management.
He said: "I want to be an honest manager. I want to be honest with my players and demand high standards out of them.
"From the fans' point of view, I want to create an attacking team that the fans enjoy watching. And also create a team that's very difficult to beat.
"That's easy to say but the challenge for me is can I go and create that, deliver that at a top football club.
"Thankfully I've got the opportunity by getting this job and I'm very proud to be here. I'm looking forward to the challenge."
