BRENDAN Rodgers has been putting his Celtic players through their paces ahead of tomorrow's pre-season friendly clash with Sparta Prague.

The Scottish champions' preparations are in full swing at their training base in Austria, with the beginning of their Champions League qualifying campaign just around the corner.

A 1-0 defeat to Bohemians on Saturday wasn't the ideal start, with winger Jonny Hayes picking up an injury and Dominik Masek's goal proving decisive.

Mikael Lustig, Dedryck Boyata, Cristian Gamboa and Tom Rogic are absent from the squad due to their involvement at the World Cup.

Following tomorrow's test, Celtic take on Shamrock Rovers on Saturday in Dublin and Standard Liege at Celtic Park on 13 July either side of their first round qualifier against Armenian outfit Alashkert on 10 July.

The decisive return leg at Celtic Park is then scheduled for Wednesday 18 July.
