Celtic defender Hatem Abd Elhamed is back fighting fit ahead of his side's Champions League clash with CFR Cluj this week.

The Israeli ace missed the Hoops' 5-2 win over Motherwell on Saturday due to a niggling injury.

Kris Ajer played in his stead and scored in a dominant performance which should boost confidence levels.

But Celts boss Neil Lennon has confirmed Elhamed - and fellow defender Jozo Simunovic - will both be available to play against the Romanians.

He said: "Everyone’s fully fit.

"Hatem and Jozo will come back into the squad now after the weekend so those two will be back in contention."

Mikey Johnston is also back in the squad.

Lennon admits he's not expecting an overly-physical matchup from Dan Petrescu's troops.

The first-leg ended in a 1-1 draw and the Hoops gaffer expects a similar tightly-contested game at Parkhead.

He added: "They’re a big strong team and have good pace in certain areas. They’re direct and a threat at set-pieces.

"I don’t think they’re going to be over physical, the game wasn’t in Romania."
