Dundee take on Celtic in their first post-split Scottish Premiership fixture this weekend.

The clubs will square off at Dens Park this weekend in the first weekend of top-six action in the top flight.

And there is plenty on the line for both clubs with Dundee hunting down a European spot and Celtic gunning for the Scottish Premiership title.

Dundee will look to build on their 0-0 draw with Rangers last time out as they chase St Mirren in fifth with the league position guaranteeing a Europa Conference League qualifying spot.

The Buddies currently sit two points ahead of Dundee but could extend the lead before kick-off at Dens as St Mirren host Rangers in the early kick-off on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Celtic lead the league table with a three-point gap over rivals Rangers.

Brendan Rodgers' side scraped into the Scottish Cup final at the weekend with a shoot-out win over Aberdeen at Hampden.

And now, returning to league business they'll be aiming to at least preserve their lead in the race for the title this term.
