St Mirren supporters this afternoon booed a substitution in their match against Rangers...when a ballboy was removed from his position.
A Buddies ballboy could be seen being led away by a member of staff as the bizarre moment was caught on Sky Sports cameras.
While the match was being played loud boos could be heard through TV coverage with no obvious reason coming from the action on the pitch.
However, Sky Sports commentator Rory Hamilton explained the fan fury from the home end came as a ballboy was led away from the side of the pitch.

Hamilton said: "I think the booing is for the substitution of a ballboy.
"Our friend with the mohawk is being moved somewhere else."
A shot then showed a ballboy being walked round the side of the pitch as supporters booed the decision. A loud cheer from the home end then went up for the youngster.
It's thought the decision was made after a minor incident with Leon Balogun in the first half.
As the centre back walked to the touchline to take a thrown-in, the ballboy held the ball out before lightly throwing it away as Balogun looked to pick up the ball.
The cheeky moment earned praise from the home supporters as Balogun moved to then collect the ball to take the throw.
It's unclear whether referee Nick Walsh called for the ballboy to be moved after the incident.
