COLNE Dramatic Society celebrates its 75th anniversary this year.
From humble beginnings the society gained momentum, finance, members and popular support and now it is a self-supporting organisation whose 72-seater theatre has become established as one of Lancashire's most delightful venues.
Plans are now in hand for a small extension to the front of the theatre to create a new box office and disabled toilets.
The lowest quote for the work is currently £80,000 and the society is hoping that local sponsors will come forward to help its quest to raise the money.
