AN Accrington charity has been put in focus by a local business.
The Accrington and District Blind Society have been presented with a digital camera by leading East Lancashire firm P3 Computers.
"It is a real help for us," said the society's Marion Clark. "We offer help to over 800 people in the Accrington and Rossendale area in various ways but we are a self-funded body so gestures like this are very obviously very welcome."
The digital camera donated by P3 was auctioned off and helped raise over £2,000 for the charity. We were happy to help out," said P3's Chris Wildeman.
P3's Chris Wildeman presents the camera to Arthur Foster, chairman and Marion Clark, secretary, of the society.
