ALEX MORRISON has warned Billy Nelson that he will not undermine Willie Limond's attempt to claim a British title at the third time of asking.
The Glaswegian takes on British light-welterweight champion Curtis Woodhouse in a double domestic belt bust-up at Braehead Arena a week on Friday.
Limond's Commonwealth title is up for grabs and the Englishman's Lonsdale belt on the line.
Big Alex has revealed trainer Nelson, who had a short spell as Limond's coach, is set to hand the British champion some inside info on his rival.
But Morrison remains confident that his charge has the class to beat the all-action ex-footballer.
He said: "We understand that Billy Nelson has offered his services for Woodhouse's corner and of course that his prerogative.
"But Willie has moved on and developed an awful lot since he had a short spell with Billy in his corner.
"Perhaps Curtis thinks he will benefit from some inside information from Billy, but if he is relying on that I would advise him not to."
He added: "Willie has seen it all and done it all.
"He is in the shape of his life and I have never seen him more motivated.
"Willie knows this could be his last big chance.
"If anything this will only act as a further motivation for Willie."
Tickets priced £40, £60, £100 and ringside VIP £200 fpr the fight are available on 0141-554 7777.
