SCOTT ALLAN has not been discussed in terms of a move to Celtic, according to sources within the club.

There were whispers that the Hibs midfielder, who has also been linked with a move to Rangers, was on Ronny Deila’s radar, however those reports appear unfounded.

However, the Parkhead club could be encouraged by the news that striking target Milan Djuric has told his Italian club Cesena that he would like to make the move to Glasgow.

Cesena had slapped a valuation of around €3million on the player, but it is believed that they would be willing to negotiate on that and agree a deal nearer to around the £1m mark for the 6ft 6in 25-year-old.

Marcel Halstenberg, the St Pauli left-back, is also still reported to be on the club’s wanted list, with Celtic preparing a second bid for the player.

Meanwhile, Jelle Vossen has also told Celtic that he is open to a £2m switch to Glasgow.

The KRC Genk forward was reported to have said: “Celtic is a club I admire — it is a big and great club.

“When I was younger, I watched a lot of their games in the Champions League.

“Celtic have had great teams and some Belgian players have been over there already.

We just have to wait and see what happens and what the future will bring. I will talk to Genk in the coming days.”

Meanwhile, Jason Denayer is reported to be set to pen a new deal with Manchester City after impressing on his loan season with Celtic last year.

The 19-year-old formed a rock-solid centre-back partnership with Virgil van Dijk as Deila's men made it four Premiership titles in succession and also lifted the League Cup with a 2-0 victory over Dundee United at Hampden.
