KRIS COMMONS is understood to be a doubt for Celtic's Champions League second round qualifying tie with FC Stjarnan.
According to morning reports, the 31-year-old midfielder is suffering from a fractured toe following an accident at home involving a wardrobe door.
Celtic play host to the Icelandic side at Parkhead on Wednesday, July 15, with the return leg taking place a week later.
Ronny Deila, the Celtic manager, handed Commons a new two=year contract last season and will be keen to have him in the side for the beginning of the competitive campaign.
