THE Nadir Ciftci to Celtic saga is about to be brought to a close as the deal looks set to be completed this week.
The Turk has been given permission to talk to Ronny Deila after a third bid of around £1.5million was deemed acceptable by Dundee United.
A statement on United's website read: "Dundee United today confirmed that an undisclosed fee had been agreed with Celtic for Nadir Ciftci and permission has been granted for the Glasgow club to speak to the player."
The Scottish champions initially offered £900,000 for the forward. English League One outfit Wigan Athletic were willing to stump up over £1million for Ciftci, but Celtic Park was always his preferred destination.
