VIRGIL van Dijk will be eligible to play in Celtic's return leg against FC Stjarnan next Wednesday night.
The Dutch defender was suspended for the 2-0 win over the Icelandic minnows this week as Celtic took their first step on a journey that they hope will take them into the group stages of the Uefa Champions League.
Van Dijk was suspended after being sent off after collecting two yellow cards in Italy when Celtic were beaten by Inter Milan in last season's Europa League knockout stages.
However, Uefa today confirmed he will be available for selection after serving his ban.
"The punishment he received was to miss one game and he has done that," said a Uefa spokesman. "He is now free to play in the competition."
The defender has been linked with a move out of Celtic Park this season, but Ronny Deila has been insistent that he will not go before the qualifiers have taken place.
