Former Celtic striker Georgios Samaras has had his contract at West Brom terminated by mutual consent, the Barclays Premier League club have announced.
Samaras had 12 months remaining on the two-year deal he signed last summer when he moved to The Hawthorns as a free agent after being released by the parkhead club.
The 30-year-old Greece international striker made just eight appearances for Albion, most coming from the substitutes' bench.
In February he was loaned out to Al-Hilal until the end of the season. Samaras played 11 times for the Saudi Arabian club, scoring two goals.
