Southampton and Everton are the latest top-flight English clubs to be linked with a move for Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk.
Celtic remain adamant that the player is not for sale, but their resolve could be tested if a substantial offer for the 23-year-old is tabled.
Everton have eyed Van Dijk as a potential replacement for John Stones if the player goes to Chelsea, although Manchester United are also reported to be watching Stones’ situation.
Everton boss Roberto Martinez is believed to be willing to pay Celtic’s £10million asking price for Van Dijk if Stones moves on.
