CELTIC have today been linked with what would be a sensational loan move for their former striker Gary Hooper.
The 27-year-old has struggled to recreate the form with Norwich City which brought him 82 goals in 138 games for Celtic.
And it is believed his current club would be willing to talk about a deal.
Hooper, who left Glasgow two years ago, has managed only 13 goals in 37 appearances for Norwich, now managed by Scot Alex Neil.
The Englishman was a huge favourite with the Celtic supporters who would love to see him return to the club even if it was on a temporary basis.
Ronny Deila signed Nadir Ciftci in the summer, but with players expecting to leave this month, including Anthony Stokes, his squad could end up short in terms of attacking options.
