CELTIC have been drawn alongside Ajax, Fenerbahce and Molde in the group stage of the Europa League.
Ronny Deila's side were placed in Pot 2 for today's draw at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco after tumbling out of the Champions League at the hands of Swedish side Malmo in the qualifying play-offs.
Their campaign will begin on September 17 with a visit to Ajax.
The entire fixture list is as follows:
September 17 - Ajax v Celtic 6pm
October 1 - Celtic v Fenerbahce 8.05pm
October 22 - Molde v Celtic 8.05pm
November 5 - Celtic v Molde 6pm
November 26 - Celtic v Ajax 8.05pm
December 10 - Fenerbahce v Celtic 6pm
Craig Gordon, the Celtic goalkeeper, was happy with the outcome.
“It’s a good draw with some very good teams and difficult opponents," he said.
“That’s what you want to test yourself against. It is something to look forward to."
