Celtic's new signing Erik Sviatchenko gets his first introduction to Scottish banter in blog post
Celtic's new signing Erik Sviatchenko has said goodbye to his homeland of Denmark in a dramatic blog post - and football fans have responded with typical Scottish banter.
The Dane has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with the Parkhead side, and unlike his footballing contemporaries he has a few string to his bow including blogging about fashion.
The 24-year-old defender posted a stunning image with the caption, "Bye bye Denmark - heading for Scotland and Paradise. Celtic FC."
And it appears his stylish manner is something the fans will have to get used to.
One Facebook user said: "A bit dramatic," while another joked, "Bring your brolly."
Watch out Paradise, looks like a new football fashionista has arrived.
