CELTIC have been drawn against Barcelona, Manchester City and Borussia Monchengladbach in Champions League Group C.
The Hoops secured a place in the competition proper with a 5-4 aggregate win over Hapoel Be'er Sheva on Tuesday after two consecutive years of failing to make it past the play-offs.
At Thursday's draw in Monaco, Brendan Rodgers' side were drawn in Group C along with the Spanish champions, Pep Guardiola's City and last season's fourth-placed Bundesliga side Gladbach after being placed in Pot 4 due to their UEFA ranking.
It is the third group stage draw in a row in which the Hoops have been pitted against Barcelona, having previously faced them in 2012/13 and 2013/14.
Celtic will begin their campaign on the 13/14 September, with the group stages culminating on 6/7 December.
There will then be a two-month break before the knockout stages begin, with the final on 3 June to be hosted at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
