DUNDEE general manager Jim Thomson has warned Celtic fans hoping for a title party that they will not be able to purchase extra tickets for Sunday's Ladbrokes Premiership meeting at Dens Park.

Brendan Rodgers' side would clinch their sixth consecutive league title this weekend if they claim three points against Paul Hartley's side and Aberdeen lose to Hearts a day earlier.

But the Hoops have already sold out their allocation of away tickets and Thomson warned fans thinking of travelling to the ground without one that there would not be any available on the day.

In addition, the hosts are only offering tickets to Dundee supporters with a prior record of attending games in a bid to keep Bhoys fans out of the home section.

“There will obviously be a lot of excitement among Celtic fans at the thought of potentially winning the title this weekend," Thomson said.

“They have sold their allocation but there’s no chance of any of their supporters turning up on the day or even before that to purchase match-day tickets.

“We won’t allow that to happen for security reasons. Dundee FC are only selling tickets to those Dundee fans who have a history of buying tickets from us.”
