GORDON(6):Held one Kevin Holt free-kick firmly at the start of the second period and then started the move that ultimately led to Celtic’s second of the afternoon. Little he could do with the wonder strike from Faissal El Bakhtaoui that almost burst the net.

LUSTIG (6): Fuming when James Forrest was upended in an attack on Dundee’s goal, just before the opener. Little to do defensively as Celtic enjoyed the bulk of possession.

SIMUNOVIC (7): Got the goal to break the deadlock with a low scissor-kick that seemed to take a deflection before going into the back of the net. Celtic look far more assured defensively when he is in the backline.

BOYATA (6): Had a header cleared off the line just before Celtic took the lead in the opening half although looked a little edgy as Dundee tried to force their way back into the game in the second period.

TIERNEY (7): Usual shift as he work the left flank. Up against fellow youngster Cammy Kerr who did a decent shift in trying to suffocate the amount of room he got.

FORREST (7): Set up both goals, with some fine footwork on both occasions. Off as he tired in the second period as Patrick Roberts was introduced.

BROWN (7): Booked just after the hour mark for a foul on Paul McGowan. Combative and aggressive as he drove Celtic within one game of the league title.

MCGREGOR (6): Making his 100th appearance for the club, McGregor – Simunovic being the other - was one of just two changes made to the team following last weekend’s draw against Rangers.

ARMSTRONG (8): Scored Celtic’s second of the day and his 12th of the season with a fine glancing header as he continues to underline his importance to Celtic.

SINCLAIR (7): The international break will do the winger good. Has arguably been Celtic’s best player this season but has looked a little jaded and off the pace in recent weeks. Not much room for him to work with at Dens. Replaced by Sviatchenko in the latter stages.

DEMBELE (6): Caught in a battle at times as he tried to use his physique to make a bit of space for himself but not as slick as he has been at times this season. Looks as though he is trying to do too much on his own. Touch deserted him on one or two occasions. Booked for kicking the ball away as the game drew to a close.

KOUASSI (4): On for McGregor but game effectively passed him by. Did manage to get himself booked.

ROBERTS (4): Replaced Forrest as Celtic looked to kick on.

SVIATCHENKO (4): On as Celtic wound the clock down and tried to see the game out.
