GORDON (7): Does Craig Gordon get bored? One header of note in the opening period to deal with but other than that was a virtual spectator for the bulk of the 90 minutes.

GAMBOA (7): Deputised for Mikel Lustig and worked the flank with very few defensive duties to attend to.

BOYATA (7): Another decent showing from the stopper who did what he had to do without really breaking sweat.

SVITACHENKO (7): A mainstay in the team for the opening half of the season, Sviatchenko has found himself playing second fiddle to the pairing of Boyata and Jozo Simunovic from January. In at Firhill and presented himself relatively well.

IZAGUIRRE (7): Kieran Tierney was given a rare breather on the bench as the dependable Izaguirre came to the fore. Played almost as a winger given how far forward Celtic were for most of the game.

ROBERTS (9): Oustanding performance from the winger whose game has matured enormously under Rodgers this season. Netted two exquisite strikes and was unplayable from Callum Booth’s perspective. Gave the Jags man a torrid time.

BROWN (8): back in after a two game suspension and ran the show in the middle of the park.

ROGIC (8): Presenting Rodgers will a decision to make as the Scottish Cup final looms. The Aussie internationalist missed four months of the season through injury but in recent weeks has re-discovered his fitness as well as his touch.

MCGREGOR (8): Another who has come on leaps and bounds this season. Full of running and industry in the middle of the park and looked to get the ball forward at every opportunity. Deserved his goal.

FORREST (8): Quick feet and clever movement and integral to Celtic’s forward movement.

GRIFFITHS (8): Netted the club’s 100th league goal from the spot and the architect of Celtic’s second of the night. Not happy when he was replaced by Scott Sinclair.

TOURE (5): On for Boyata to a heroic welcome.

SINCLAIR (5): On for Griffiths and almost claimed a goal with a snapshot effort that was parried away.

BITTON (5): Took over from Forrest as Celtic ran riot.
