Former Celtic manager Ronny Deila has insisted that he has no regrets about his time at the Parkhead club.

The Norwegian spent two seasons at Celtic but made way for Brendan Rodgers to take over in June 2016.

Rodgers has since went on to lead Celtic to back-to-back Trebles, but Deila has no bad taste over his time in Glasgow.

The Norwegian won two league titles and the League Cup in his time at the club and has admitted to learning lessons from his tenure.

“I’m proud of the job I did at Celtic and I am proud to be a part of their history,” he said. “I am not angry.

“I made my mistakes, I did some good things and I learned a lot. That’s the most important thing.”

Meanwhile, former Celtic manager and captain Neil Lennon has lauded the achievements of Rodgers since his fellow countryman took the managerial role at the club.

“To go unbeaten and win three trophies at the same time, his first season was spectacular,” said Lennon. “It is a great managerial feat and the style of football that Celtic play is very easy on the eye.

“The style of the football Celtic play is very easy on the eye. To go and do it again and win the double treble is an incredible managerial achievement.”

Ronny Deila, Neil Lennon and Brendan Rodgers will speak to BT Sport on Saturday night’s Magnifiseven documentary. The programme will air from 6pm before Tyson Fury’s comeback fight exclusively on BT Sport 1. For more information visit bt.com/sport
