THE odds on Celtic winning an unprecedented back-to-back treble are falling by the week.

The League Cup has been won, a seventh title will be secured with something to spare and that just leaves the Scottish Cup.

Also, there is a real possibility Brendan Rodgers’s men can go through another season undefeated.

Patrick Roberts certainly believes so and given a rare talent such as himself didn’t even start against Motherwell, what chance to the rest have.

Asked about a double treble, Roberts said: “We have to believe (they can do it) and the manager believes in us.

“We will keep plugging away and moving on for the games. That is all we can do.

“At the end of the year we can look back and, hopefully, we can achieve the same. You can see the quality in our side.”

Complacency can creep into even the best teams;however, every Celtic player will tell you that won’t happen to them.

“We just keep enjoying our football and we enjoy winning,” said Roberts. “We never lose sight of that and we showed it again on Sunday.

“The quality in the squad speaks for itself, no matter who is playing. We can create chances at any time.

“I have just come back from injury and it was good to be involved in the cup final and to get some minutes. “That will help me get closer to full fitness.”

“When the team is winning and full of confidence then it is tough for the manager to pick a starting XI.

“All the players know that and we will fight to get in, we did it last season and we will do it again this year. “For me, it is just to enjoy playing the way I can when I get on the pitch.”
