CRAIG GORDON (7): Cracking double save in the second period when he had to twist his body midair to repel a Davis Keillor-Dunn effort but other than that little of note to do.

ANTHONY RALSTON (7): Continues to add to his reputation and looking like a player who will genuinally push for first-team inclusion this season.

NIR BITTON (7): Decent afternoon for the Israeli internationalist who was comfortable throughout. Not entirely at home in defence but had very little to do against Ross County. Allowed him to get forward at times in support.

JOZO SIMUNOVIC (7): Strolled through the encounter. One second-half moment when Gordon was called into action when the defence were caught somewhat flat-footed but other than that was a spectator for most of the day.

JAMES FORREST (8): Two good second-half goals will have done his confidence no harm at all. Took his chance to impress and is well on his well to a season-best in term of his goal tally.

TOM ROGIC (8): Excellent performance from the Australian internationalist. Scored the first of the afternoon with a composed shot from the edge of the box but was integral the attacking forays that Celtic made throughout the afternoon.

SCOTT BROWN (7): Typical shift from the Scotland internationalist. Plenty of running and endeavour and a far more comfortable experience than the long 90 minutes against PSG.

STUART ARMSTRONG (7): Coming back to his best after a slow start to the season. Not quite at the level he was at towards the final months of the previous campaign but showing glimpses of getting back to his best.

JONNY HAYES (7): Possibly the most comfortable display from the Republic of Ireland internationalist since his arrival from Aberdeen this summer. Played in a wing-back role and got up and down the park.

LEIGH GRIFFITHS (7): Had a hand in the first goal and will be interesting to see if there is any mileage in a two-pronged attack line with him and Demble.

MOUSSA DEMBELE (7): Lasted a full hour and will be managed carefully over the next few weeks as a recurrence of his hamstring injury is avoided. Took his goal well when he arched it around the keeper – his first goal this season – and will look to kick on now that he is getting up to speed.

ODSONEE EDOUARD (6): Came on just around the hour mark and was unlucky not to tee up Scott Sinclair for a goal. Strong, powerful running and quick feet. Already looks like he could be a strong addition for Celtic this season.

MCGREGOR (6): Off the bench to chip in to what was a pretty comprehensive win.

SINCLAIR (6): Will have been disappointed not to score given a couple of genuine chances he had as Ross County were on their knees.
