Craig Thomson will take charge of Saturday's Ladbrokes Premiership encounter between Rangers and Celtic, the Scottish Football Association has announced.
The experienced referee has officiated in three Hampden semi-final meetings between the teams in the past three seasons and his last Old Firm derby in the league came in a 4-2 victory for Rangers over Celtic in September 2011.
Thomson has issued six red cards in seven games this season, three of them to Motherwell players against St Johnstone.
