HAMILTON boss Billy Reid is hoping the return of David Elebert can help his side get their Irn-Bru title bid back on track.
Reid, whose side crashed to a 2-0 defeat at Livingston last week, has been without Elebert for the last month.
But the Irish defender has recovered from the knee injury that has kept him sidelined and will line up against St Johnstone at New Douglas Park tomorrow.
And Billy beamed: "It is a big boost. David has been one of our most consistent performers in the last
couple of seasons and we have missed him.
"He is only 21, but he organises our defence really well and communicates well with his team- mates. He is an old head on young shoulders."
Reid reckons his side, who are now level with Dundee at the top of the table, will need to be at their very best to beat St Johnstone.
Former Rangers star Derek McInnes has taken over from Owen Coyle as boss at McDiarmid Park and Reid reckons that will affect their performances.
He said: "You do tend to find that players get a lift whenever a new manager comes in and takes over. I am sure St Johnstone will be up for this one.
"I expected them and Dunfermline to launch a stronger challenge for the league than they have done. They have got a lot of good players."
Meanwhile, Morton boss Jim McInally feels his side can use their performance against joint league leaders Dundee at Cappielow tomorrow to see how they are coping with life at this level.
The Second Division champions are sitting in a mid-table position after some encouraging displays and are looking like safe bets to avoid relegation.
And Jim said: "I think the players have shown they are capable of holding their own in this league. How we do against Dundee will be a barometer of our progress. But I think we can give anybody a game at Cappielow."
Elsewhere, Clyde host Livi and Stirling Albion go to Queen of the South.
