MARK McGHEE reckons slashing ticket prices from £20 to just £5 for the Aberdeen game on Saturday has given their Uefa Cup hopes a huge boost.
Steelmen chief John Boyle is hoping the move will ensure a bumper crowd of over 10,000 for the club's SPL showdown with the Dons at Fir Park.
And McGhee reckons if they do it will increase his high-flying side's prospects of winning a vital match.
Mark said: "It definitely aids the players if there are a lot of people there to cheer them on. At the same time, when there are huge swathes of empty seats it doesn't give the players great encouragement.
"We are delighted with this initiative. It makes the match accessible to everybody. I know the players appreciate the gesture as well. It shows that everyone here at Fir Park is pulling in the right direction."
