STEVEN FLETCHER gave Celtic's title hopes a massive boost when he helped Hibs hold Rangers to a scoreless draw at Easter Road.
But now he's aiming to undo the good deed and inflict a serious dent in their aspirations by forcing them to drop points on Sunday afternoon when they lock horns at Parkhead.
The Easter Road striker admitted he and his team-mates could well have stoked up trouble for themselves by giving Gordon Strachan's side further hope of making it three-in-a-row.
But he insisted the Parkhead players shouldn't look on Sunday's stalemate in Edinburgh as Hibs having done them a favour.
He said: "I'm sure Celtic would have been delighted with that result, it's certainly ensured the title race will, it seems, go all the way.
"But I don't care which team wins the title, I'm only concerned about what happens at Hibs. We have our own target in wanting to finish third and take that last Uefa Cup place so we're not worried about what anyone else does.
"So we look at the point we got against Rangers as a step in that direction, not what it has or hasn't done for them or Celtic.
"I suppose in a way we'll have helped fire Celtic up even more by stopping Rangers winning and we know going to Celtic Park at any time is tough, never mind when the title itself is at stake.
"It's to Celtic's credit that they've done so well to really open up the race again when it looked as if it was going to Rangers.
"But we beat Celtic at Easter Road earlier in the season and drew at Celtic Park back in December when no-one really fancied us to do anything.
"We've also beaten Rangers at Ibrox and drawn with them in Edinburgh so we don't fear playing either side of the Old Firm home or away."
