RANGERS fly out for a date with destiny today with high hopes of having a full-strength squad.
Charlie Adam, DaMarcus Beasley and Lee McCulloch are all injury free.
And Kevin Thomson, who limped off in the 3-1 triumph over Dundee United at Ibrox on Saturday with an ankle injury, should be available.
It is good news for Walter
Smith and the Uefa Cup Final against Zenit St Petersburg
in Manchester on Wednesday.
Midfielder Thomson, who got a Scotland call-up last week, will have physio treatment ahead of the game with Dick Advocaat's team.
But Christian Dailly, who will be in contention for a start in the City of Manchester Stadium if Thomson fails to recover, has backed his crocked team-mate to win his battle to be fit.
Christian said: "It will be nice if Thommo is fit, as he has been doing so well for us. Knowing him as I do, I think he will be fine. The last thing he needs is a wee injury at this time, but he carries a little foot injury from time to time, anyway, so he is used to it.
"He had a little bang on it on Saturday, but I think he will get over it pretty quickly and be ready to play in a
massive game."
Versatile Dailly, on loan from West Ham, will get right behind the team even if he is left out. And he has backed the entire squad to do exactly the same.
He said: "Thommo has done well for us and we want him fit. But if he isn't then somebody else will come in and do a good job. Everyone wants to play. It is a huge match. But I think we all realise the manager will pick the 11 players he thinks can win the game.
"If you are involved or aren't involved it doesn't really matter. Everybody in the squad, and the fans, have contributed to our success in Europe and can enjoy the night."
Dailly believes
captain Barry Ferguson, who has been nursing an ankle injury, is hitting peak form at exactly the right time. He scored the
winner over Motherwell last Wednesday and set up Jean-Claude Darcheville for a late goal against United.
Christian said: "In the last couple of games Barry has done really well. He has that zip back in his legs.
"He took great heart from scoring against Motherwell and he was involved in the goals against United. It is good to see Fergie like that again. He will be an important player for us."
