ALLAN McGREGOR will suffer the agony of watching from the stand after playing a massive role in getting Rangers to Manchester.
The keeper is out for the season with an ankle injury and joins fellow-crocks Chris Burke and Stevie
Naismith. DaMarcus Beasley is fit again, but was withdrawn from the Uefa list in January when Walter Smith believed he would be out until next season.
"It's disappointing to be injured," said McGregor. "But there's nothing I can do about it and I'll just get behind all the boys now."
Neil Alexander will
continue in goal, and Allan has been impressed with his deputy. "Neil's done well," he said. "He's a good keeper, we knew that when he came to the club. I'll wish him the best of luck tonight."
