Kris Commons: Celtic will blast back...

Kris Commons says Celtic’s cap stars are so focused on winning the title they’ll need just a single Lennoxtown training session to be back in total harmony.

Commons flew back to Glasgow along with team-mates Scott Brown and Mark Wilson after Scotland’s 2-0 friendly defeat to Brazil in London, but some of his Parkhead team-mates won’t return to the fold until Thursday, just 48 hours before they are back in league action.

Joe Ledley, Emilio Izaguirre, Georgios Samaras, Ki Sung-Yueng, Niall McGinn, Paddy McCourt, Thomas Rogne, Beram Kayal, James Forrest, Efrain Juarez and Gary Hooper were all called up for full or Under-21 duties and some will be involved in games for their country this midweek.

Having so many players scattered around is a concern for manager Neil Lennon, who cannot organise and plan his team properly until they’re all back.  For full story see today’s Evening Times...
