The Paisley golfer, who failed to regain his full playing rights for the main circuit at last December's qualifying school, has been given an invitation to the Malaga event.
Forsyth's low ranking has meant he has only played twice this season and his last competitive outing was in January's Joburg Open.
The 36-year-old, who teed-off 2012 with a fifth place finish in the Africa Open, will be joined in the field by local trio Marc Warren, Steven O'Hara and Garry Orr, who makes his first start of the season.
Former Open champ Paul Lawrie has travelled back from the US to defend his title.
Meanwhile, Hayston ace Stephen Gray continued his sizzling start to 2012 with his third overseas win of the new year in the PGA's Golfbreaks.com Pro-Am in Girona.
Gray, last season's Tartan Tour No 1, reeled off rounds of 72, 69 and 68 for a seven-under aggregate of 209.
The 38-year-old romped home by seven shots from Stirling's European Tour player Craig Lee. Carluke's former Scottish PGA champion Craig Ronald shared fourth.
