Gartland relieved after Wales' late show

Wales ruby coach Warren Gatland said his team "got out of jail" after their RBS 6 Nations victory in Ireland yesterday.

The visitors won 23-21, courtesy of Leigh Halfpenny's last-minute penalty.

The award was given by English referee Wayne Barnes when flanker Stephen Ferris tip-tackled Ian Evans.

Ferris received a yellow card, as did Wales lock Bradley Davies earlier in the game, although Davies' tackle on Donacha Ryan was far more serious and looks certain to have him cited and banned.
