Glasgow Tigers on an even keel

GLASGOW TIGERS were held to a 45-45 draw by Workington Comets at Ashfield.

The home side needed a final-heat 5-1 success from James Grieves and Joe Screen to secure a point.

lAudi's Allan McNish was left "devastated" after finishing the 80th Le Mans 24 hour race in second place despite challenging for the lead throughout.

The 42-year-old was driving Audi's hybrid R18 e-tron Quattro car and it was the sister car, driven by Marcel Fassler, Andre Lotterer and Benoit Treluyer, that went on to claim the German manufacturer's 11th victory at the iconic circuit.
