The Jags will return to the Catterick Garrison of the 1st Battalion Scots Guards in Yorkshire ahead of McNamara's second term in the dugout.
Thistle have confirmed three of their pre-season fixtures, with work ongoing to secure more opposition ahead of the big Division 1 kick-off.
McNamara will face former Celtic team-mate Paul Hartley when Thistle travel to Alloa on July 10 before meeting Mark Roberts' Ayr United at Somerset Park a week later.
The Jags boss will also see his squad in action in a bounce game with Queen of the South.
The boss hopes there will be further fixture news sooner rather than later.
He said: "Going to Catterick was good for us last year.
"We are doing it slightly differently this season, we are going down in the second week of pre-season rather than the first week.
"We had a week there last year and played a game at the end of it. I think it was too early.
"This year we will change it and give ourselves more time to get up to speed.
"We are still trying to organise more games and, hopefully, they are fixtures that the fans will get excited about.
"We are playing Alloa on the Tuesday night and the Queens game will be closed doors on Wednes-day, June 11, I think.
"We will mix and match the team between the two games. We are looking to organise a decent game on June 14.
"It might be away from home."
