BLANTYRE VICS clinched their place in the Evening Times Champions' Final with a comfortable victory over Ardrossan Winton Rovers at Castle Park tonight.
David Greig's Stagecoach Central District First Division champions will now meet either Super First winners Pollok or Scottish Cup and Super Premier champs Auchinleck Talbot at Newlandsfield Park this Saturday (2pm).
Vics opened the scoring from the penalty spot with Mark Thomson converting after David Galt was upended. Visiting goalkeeper Michael Wardrope was red-carded for comments to the referee.
But Rovers levelled through Ben Carson before Vics regained the lead after an opportunist strike from Craig Smith.
And, shortly after the break, Galt made it 3-1 and their place in the final was assured when Smith scored his second to give his side a 4-1 lead.
Andy Sinclair then added a fifth before Jordan Cairnie headed home a corner to give Rovers some consolation for their efforts.
