Kilbirnie Ladeside Christmas Brunch

KILBIRNIE Ladeside are holding a Christmas Brunch on Sunday (12-3.30pm) at which there will be a large-screen showing of their 1-1 Rugby Park draw against Auchinleck Talbot in the 1987 Scottish Cup final.

A number of Bobby Davidson's playing squad from that game have promised to attend, as has legendary Talbot defender Ross Findlay.

Blasties secretary Gordon Ronney said: "We've lost touch with some of the 1987 players so hopefully they will read about the event and get in touch with me on 07889 403298 if they intend to come along."
