AUCHINLECK TALBOT maintained their two-point advantage at the top of the Premier League with an emphatic 4-0 home win over near neighbours Glenafton.
Goals by Graham Wilson, James Latta, Bryan Young and Kyle Faulds have kept Bot two points in front of Petershill – with three games in hand.
Peasie pulled off a stunning 3-2 win over Rob Roy – and were two up after just five minutes through Stewart Maxwell and Stephen McGladrigan.
Iain Dick hit back for Rabs but McGladrigan restored Petershill's two-goal advantage. Chic Connolly scored a consolation for the home side.
Ashfield leapfrogged Clydebank into fourth after a 1-1 draw at Shotts, while Irvine Meadow did their survival hopes no harm at all with a 2-0 win over Clydebank.
In the Super First Division, leaders Hurlford United remain five points clear of the pack, despite a 7-1 mauling at Holm Park by Yoker, while Billy Adams' Perthshire pulled off a stunning 2-1 win at high-flying Largs Thistle.
