ALLAN MOORE is disappointed to miss out on an Old Firm Cup clash.

But the Morton boss hopes his side can upset the odds when they face Motherwell in the Scottish Cup fifth round

The Ton booked a place in the hat with a 2-1 win over Raith Rovers on Saturday and have been handed another away tie against Stuart McCall's side.

With SPL champions Rangers and cup holders Celtic easing into the fourth round at the weekend, Moore was hoping to land one of them, but is looking forward to a trip to Fir Park.

He said: "Motherwell are going well, but it is a game we can win, no doubt about it.

"Everybody is looking for Celtic and Rangers but not everyone can get that. The Old Firm is the game that will generate extra revenue, which is the beauty of the cup.

"It would have been nice to have got one of them and brought money into the club.

"A home tie would have been nice, we have had a lot of away games in cups but, hopefully, we can keep our league form going and get a result.

"Motherwell are doing well in the SPL just now so hopefully there is a big crowd at the game and we can perform on the day.

"If we perform and Motherwell have an off day, we could get through."
