GLASGOW City eased into the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup with a 7-0 win over Celtic 20s.
Despite fielding a much-changed starting line-up after their Champions League action in midweek, City controlled the match after Eilish McSorley netted a 10th-minute penalty.
Susan Fairlie headed in a Fiona Brown cross three minutes later and Courtney Whyte scored her first before the half-hour mark with a close-range header.Right on half-time 16-year-old Whyte scored with a terrific overhead kick.
Fairlie got her second in the 57th minute and Fiona Brown made it 6-0 to the cup holders with a cool finish from an inch-perfect Lauren McMurchie pass.
Five minutes from time sub Jo Love netted the last goal with a free-kick that was deflected past Celtic keeper Laura Hamilton.
Afterwards City coach Donald Jennow said: "We made a number of changes to freshen things up after a tough European schedule and it showed the depth of our squad.
"We moved the ball well at times and created a lot of chances.
"I am pleased that we have made it into the hat for the next round."
Joining City in the draw for the quarter-finals will be Aberdeen, Hibernian, Hamilton Accies, Falkirk Ladies, Inverness City, Spartans, who defeated Forfar 5-2, and Rangers, who thrashed Falkirk FC 22-0, with six players netting hat-tricks.
