ARABS boss Jackie McNamara expects a backlash from Dundee in tonight's League Cup tie at Tannadice.
Dundee United go into the derby as clear favourites after their 4-1 Premiership win on Sunday which put them top of the table.
But their manager said: "Dundee will be hurting and will want to put that right. So we know what to expect.
"It doesn't change anything for me. We have to go about it the same way, and with the same approach we showed on Sunday."
"There are no easy cup games and this one is against our rivals, which makes it tough."
McNamara knows United fans will be keen to cheer another win over Paul Hartley's side. He said: "It would be great for the fans if we could win two derbies in four days.
"It's a chance to get into the next round.
"The atmosphere on Sunday was fantastic and it could be another sell-out this time."
