ST MIRREN youngsters John McGinn and Sean Kelly were today named in Scotland's Under-21 squad for the first time.
Coach Billy Stark has called up the Buddies' pair for the Vauxhall Challenge match against Hungary at Tannadice on Wednesday week (7.30), after impressing for Danny Lennon's struggling Premiership side.
Dundee United defender John Souttar has been handed his maiden call-up and there are also places for his team-mates Stuart Armstrong, who captains the squad, and Ryan Gauld.
Hibs midfielder Sam Stanton and Craig Slater of Kilmarnock have also been called up for the first time.
This will be Scotland's last friendly before their European Championship qualifier against Holland at St Mirren Park on Wednesday, May 29, with a play-off place for next summer's finals still on the horizon. Squad:
